How does OPPM work ?                                                    

It's simple: We use your donated pennies to construct  green energy systems, ....
and then we give those systems away for free to other non-profit, public organizations! Thus, we help shift the entire energy grid towards renewable resources, and away from oil, gas and coal! All systems are also designed to be educational teaching tools. 

People like you donate one penny for every mile that they drive their car.

• OPPM is a non-profit.  Unlike other “Carbon Offset” organizations, no PROFIT will be extracted from your contribution.
• OPPM ACTUALLY CONSTRUCTS energy producing systems.  Unlike other "Carbon Offset" organizations, we do not simply purchase RENEWABLE ENERGY CREDITS.  Our work is ACTIVE, not passive, helping to construct a world-wide 'green energy grid', one step at a time!
• OPPM energy systems are and will be technologically innovative.  Each constructed renewable energy production system features EDUCATIONAL COMPONENTS, so that observers can learn about how the system works.

OPPM will solicit grant proposals from prospective public recipients, and evaluate these proposals on the basis of need and potential for public education and community benefit.  Systems are designed for each specific proposed installation.  OPPM directly participates in, and oversees all stages of design and installation.  Recipients are also be supported with long-term maintenance plans, to ensure that the installed systems continue to function properly for years and years.
