Campus Representatives Program - Representatives Needed

- Help save our planet from environmental damage (caused by CO2-induced climate change)?

- Help give away renewable energy systems to worthy organizations, for FREE?

One Penny Per Mile needs energetic, fun and resourceful people to represent our mission, and help us grow, on college and university campuses nationwide.
This is a volunteer position.
Qualifications:
- Full-time student currently enrolled in good standing at a recognized institution of higher learning in the USA.
- Cooperative team spirit. Willing to work hard and have fun.
- Solid writing and discussion skills. Good computer skills.
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Engaging personality, cheerful and polite.
Tasks
- Represent One Penny Per Mile (OPPM) at events on campus. Hand out information and answer questions about our mission.
- Solicit contributions from students, staff, school administration, and the general public.
- Help OPPM develop an educational campaign on driving reduction; strategies, information and support.
- Research sustainable environmental policies at your campus. What is your school doing to reduce or offset the CO2 emissions from those vehicles?
- Communicate with the OPPM directors on a regular basis.
Other Requirements
- You must have access to a reliable computer with internet access.
- You must have an email account, which you can access frequently, and be able to send and receive messages with attachments.
OPPM reserves the right to modify this program, at any time. This is an experimental new initiative, and change should be expected. We may terminate or suspend this program at any time. Persons who are engaged as Campus Representatives must indicate that they understand this is an unpaid, uncompensated volunteer position. Campus Representatives will also be asked to sign waiver forms and releases. We will request verification of your enrollment status at your school, and we will expect you to comply with any rules and regulations at your school pertaining to your work with OPPM.
